Swansea Greatest Club Today

Swansea will prosper for 16 years and more in the Premiere league.

When Swansea City got promoted to the Barclays Premiere league via the play-offs, many critics ,pundits and so called football gurus said Swansea City will fall back to the Champions division faster than what they got promoted.

Now into their second season Swansea City has proved these critics wrong and have gained thousands of fans from around the world with their slick passing style and their Philosophy, and it's their belief, courage, spirit that will ensure Swansea to compete with the best of the Premiere League for many more years to come

Swansea had an impressive run last year under Brendon Rodgers. ending 11th on the table and taking a few Big scalps, the likes of Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool all fell to Swansea City at the Liberty.

There are many reasons behind Swansea City's success. It's their belief, spirit, philosophy and most important of all THE FANS are the keys to their success. Swansea is a close knit club, it's a Unit where fans and footballers alike are part of one big family. Week in and week out whenever Swansea plays at the Liberty there is always a sell out crowd and regardless the size of the fans whether we are 20,000 or 2000, the fans will out shout, out chant and out sing 90,000 fans in any given stadium any day. Swansea is the perfect example that one does not need BIG money and BIG names to be able to perform. Swansea are 8th on the log one behind Arsenal and are competing for a place for Europe and League cup success after making it for the first time in their history to the semi-finals.

Compared to the other teams like Sunderland, Wigan, Reading and QPR. its evident that Swansea are a better club not because of the position on the table but because Swansea plays with structure, confidence, character and hart, regardless the score whether they are 3-0 down or 1-0 up Swansea will stick to their style and their beliefs that makes them who they are, and they will continue to fight and push forward. Swansea is a perfect example of a club that has risen from the ashes after all the hardships and bad run of forms, after all the bad luck and struggle its Swansea City's time to shine to show the world what they are made of and one day they will compete with the likes of the top teams in Europe.
Swansea Fans

FOR TEAMS, MANAGERS AND PLAYERS WILL COME AND GO BUT SWANSEA WILL STAY ETERNAL IN THE LIVES OF THE FANS WHO MAKE IT ONE OF THE BEST CLUBS IN THE WORLD

FOOTBALL DIVE MASTERS

We all would agree that spring board diving in swimming has its perks and we are mainly attracted to it when it's the time of the Olympics. But now it seems that there is a new form of diving looking to become a professional sport

Diving in Football as become a custom to many teams and many players alike. Leading this new trend would be Luis Saurez and Gareth Bale. The past weekend we saw to of the best dive, masters in their trade on top form but the best comes from one you would least expect Gareth Bale. Saurez looks like he has some competition

LETS FLY: Gareth Bale takes a tumble despite no contact from Brad Guzan
Now Bales dive does not come as a surprise, what does come as a surprise is that he beat the master himself at his own game. However these are not the only players as Man United Ashley Young is also a key contender for the Dive Master crown

Now to put all jokes and Mickies aside. Diving in football is a serious issue. We see more and more top players going down in particular fashion, throwing hands and arm in the air trying to get the Refs attention, the show that is put up that these players are injured but once the decision is made they get up as if nothing is wrong.

We all agree that players need to be booked more harshly as this is an issue that needs to be stooped in its roots because the results of this issue is causing bigger issues

We all know that image is important. So what images are diving in the game causing. The result is that youngsters that idolize these players in your top leagues want to be the like these players and they start mimicking these players. Now the issue is that these young players will see the diving as a norm and start doing it at a young age meaning that one day diving will be as part of the game as scoring would be.

This is why the diving needs to stop especially in the BPL. They need to put a stop to this as fans now see diving as a norm and they start to loose interest in the game as players that constantly dive for nothing is taking the enjoyment out of the game. The BPL is a Big name and it thrives to keep that name so a stop to diving is needed to ensure that they keep their standards and class as a top league in the world. Other wise we will look at a drop in class and quality to the name of the BPL

EL LASSER CLASSICO

Lasers have been around for many years and have been used in many ways from eye surgery to em plating brass and metal plates, each laser never less has its purpose. However a different kind of laser made an appearance at the Camp Nou

The EL Classico arguably one of the biggest anticipated games of the football calender, no matter where you are or what team you support, if the EL Classico is on you will know about it. Red and green lasers where seen on the players of Real Madrid.lasers where seen on the players of Real Madrid.

This comes to no surprise as Real were visiting Barcelona at the Camp Nou. Now some would say that these laser affected the game of some of the players of Real Madrid. But Christiano Renaldo did not seem to be affected even though he seemed to have complained here and their but never less he showed why he is one of the best footballers in the world. Other players like Cassilas also seemed to complain about lasers in his face

Cristiano Ronaldo of Real Madrid has a laser pointed in his face during the EL Classico between Barcelona and Real Madrid at Nou Camp
The game certainly entertained as it ended 2 all. The matter however is the issue of the lasers. As a Real Fan or any fan in general how would this make you feel that efforts are being made to hinder you teams performance, yes they are professional players they should not be affected by thing like this but lasers are not part of the game and having said this many fans feel that the lasers is equivalent to have an extra opposition.

Other questions are that do the Barca fans not have any faith in their team that they need to use artificial means of getting their team to win. So many questions that do not have awnsers

Never-less the EL Classico one of the biggest games of the calendar. The publicity the revenue the media attention created is certainly in the top five next to the World Cup and the Champions League Final. So essentially it is a must win. But at what cost. Will acts like these have an effect on any of the PR involved or is the event just so big that it does not seem to be a factor.

One would definitely agree that any acts like these anywhere in the world would distere any top sponsorship but due to the magnitude of the game and the event, sponsors simply would just ignore it as they will get back what ever they invest. This is the real issue as it only matters if you have the power the money and numbers that will allow you to get away with things in this life, the bigger you are the better you are protected

Flying Swans or Falling Swans

What appeared to be a dream start for the Swans now seems to have turned to be a start of a long nightmare

Swansea city face their one of their biggest task ahead trying to stay a second season in the top flights of English soccer. They are the first team from Wales to ever play in the Barclays Premier league and last season they managed to stay in the top flights against all odds and pundits against them, however they managed to stay up due to their FANCY FOOTBALL, PASSING ABILITY, BELIEVES, SPIRIT and most important TEAMWORk

Flying Swans
Swansea started their campaign of to a dream start scoring 8 goals in 2 games and not conceding, and for the first two weeks they were the highest they have ever been in the BPL. with new signings Michu, De Guzman and Florez, the Swans seemed to be in charge and ready to fight

Falling Swans
However this dream start came to an end when they drew 2 all against the mighty Sunderland then losing to Villa the following week that resulted in a stint of three consecutive losses including a shocking home performance against Everton and an away game to Peter Crouch and Stoke.
Bitter taste: Swansea City losing their 3 game in a row Striker Danny Graham  dissapointed

The question can the Swans return to winning ways or was the dream start a fluke, one thing is for certain that the Swans are not gelling like a team and that is one of the KEY ingredients that Martinez, Sousa and Rodgers  managed not to lose

Now from a PR point of view. What are the implications for a team if they do manage to fall out of the Top flights. We have seen many teams fall out and return soon after and others once they have fallin they struggle to get back up and thus taking many years to get back into the BPL or never get there again. The reality is that life not in the BPL you do not have the publicity as you not in the most watched league in the world, you lose fans, lose sponsors and more thus causing a loss in revinue and causing you to lose your key players as you cant afford them.

From a fans point of view what do you think are the implications of life not in the top flights and how many years should it take you to get back

The tales of Flying Dyer

Is it a Bird is, is it a Plane . NO. it's Flying Dyer

Definitely one of the rising stars of English football. He gives fullback uphill week in and week out when he graces the pith. He is quick, Nimble, and agile. He does not lose the ball and is willing to take on any one double his size, and he knows where the back of the net is.

Flying HIgh: Nathan Dyer, Arsenal v Swansea City,Premier League
Nathan Dyer is definitely one of the best young wings in English football with the potential to become a great player. When looking at his stats last year he was by far one of the promising wings in the Barclays Premier League. So the question is what must this high flyer do to get called up to the England squad.

Any football fan would agree that Sterling being called up ahead of Dyer is abit of a shock. Not saying that Sterling is not good but we all know that Dyer is a far better player with alot more potential. So what must Dyer do to get his call

It is evident that England managers call players only due to the clubs they play for and not the aspect of choosing certain players that can play with one another. It seems that they over look players ability and stats and only look at the BIG clubs they play for .

Dyer has certainly proved that he deserves his call for the England. However Fans would feel that due to Dyers double yellow and Red this weekend he is unfit for England duty. This is the Question. However one cannot penalize a player of his class because of one bad weekend of football, we all know all players have their bad games and thats what makes them human, they are not just machines that can perform week in and week out even machines have bad days.

From a football fans point of view what do you think, does Dyer deserve his call ,does he deserve his chance. And what do you think, Do players get picked due to their clubs they play for or because of their class and skill and the ability to play with one another. let us hear your views

Debuts
With the transfer market still open and booming we have seen some familiar faces at new team and new faces all together. One of those was Miguel Michu that helped his side Swansea City to a very comfortable win over QPR with the first goal for the 2012/2013 season coming just 8 min into the game. Micheal Laudrup from Swansea also made his very first BPL as a manager whilst Former assistant manager at Liverpool Steve Clarke saw his side Wes Brom take down his former club down 3-0

Some of  the shocks would have to be Wes Brom beating Liverpool 3-0. Swansea recorded their first ever victory against QPR away in 92 years when they outplayed QPR 5-0. New Comers Southampton gave current Champions Man City a Scare when they narrowly lost 3-2 after leading 1-2. and lastly Arsenal failed to score to Sunderland as they surely missed Robin Van Percy (RVP)

Wonders
The Wonders of the opening weekend we saw an amazing goal from Wes Brom's Zoltan Gera that opened the Scoring for their 3-0 win over Liverpool. http://QiHohqOGQcg

With one game left Man U vs Everton. The opening weekend surely set of to a great start and did not fail to entertain Fans. Nobody knows what lies ahead but one thing remains clear that this looks like to be the best    season yet.

Same League, New Season, Different Challenges

The new Barclays Premier league is upon us. With the new boys wanting to show their strut while some of the Old and familiars want to put last season behind them and redeem themselves. What does this new season hold in store for us

Google images: 6 of the top teams showing their star players

With the transfer season is about to end, some managers have been very busy signing new names to strengthen their squads while other focused their attention to another aspects. Chelsea where amongst the busiest clubs in the transfer window spending over 70 million pounds, one of their signings is Belgium star  Eden Hazzard.

With six new managers in the league to start, these managers will definitely want to show that they deserve to be their. Swansea city and Wesbrom both have managers that are fairly new to the premier league. These managers have so much more to prove.

While there will be many battles to be won and many different objectives to be achieved the BIGGEST will and must be the battle of Manchester. The two Manchester clubs will be having a league of their own as Man U will want to redo their narrow loss to the title while Man City will want to retain that title and prove every one that last season was not just a one time show. But the likes of Chelsea seem to want in on that race while Arsenal, well that will be something we all would have to wait and see

With so much to play for and the losses so high the Barclays Premier Season will not fail to entertain us, New players wanting to prove them selves. It is clear that this is going to be one of the best seasons ever

As A fan are you excited and what are you expecting from this Season
