Debuts
With the transfer market still open and booming we have seen some familiar faces at new team and new faces all together. One of those was Miguel Michu that helped his side Swansea City to a very comfortable win over QPR with the first goal for the 2012/2013 season coming just 8 min into the game. Micheal Laudrup from Swansea also made his very first BPL as a manager whilst Former assistant manager at Liverpool Steve Clarke saw his side Wes Brom take down his former club down 3-0

Shocks
Some of  the shocks would have to be Wes Brom beating Liverpool 3-0. Swansea recorded their first ever victory against QPR away in 92 years when they outplayed QPR 5-0. New Comers Southampton gave current Champions Man City a Scare when they narrowly lost 3-2 after leading 1-2. and lastly Arsenal failed to score to Sunderland as they surely missed Robin Van Percy (RVP)

Wonders
The Wonders of the opening weekend we saw an amazing goal from Wes Brom's Zoltan Gera that opened the Scoring for their 3-0 win over Liverpool. http://QiHohqOGQcg

With one game left Man U vs Everton. The opening weekend surely set of to a great start and did not fail to entertain Fans. Nobody knows what lies ahead but one thing remains clear that this looks like to be the best    season yet.

Same League, New Season, Different Challenges

The new Barclays Premier league is upon us. With the new boys wanting to show their strut while some of the Old and familiars want to put last season behind them and redeem themselves. What does this new season hold in store for us

Google images: 6 of the top teams showing their star players

With the transfer season is about to end, some managers have been very busy signing new names to strengthen their squads while other focused their attention to another aspects. Chelsea where amongst the busiest clubs in the transfer window spending over 70 million pounds, one of their signings is Belgium star  Eden Hazzard.

With six new managers in the league to start, these managers will definitely want to show that they deserve to be their. Swansea city and Wesbrom both have managers that are fairly new to the premier league. These managers have so much more to prove.

While there will be many battles to be won and many different objectives to be achieved the BIGGEST will and must be the battle of Manchester. The two Manchester clubs will be having a league of their own as Man U will want to redo their narrow loss to the title while Man City will want to retain that title and prove every one that last season was not just a one time show. But the likes of Chelsea seem to want in on that race while Arsenal, well that will be something we all would have to wait and see

With so much to play for and the losses so high the Barclays Premier Season will not fail to entertain us, New players wanting to prove them selves. It is clear that this is going to be one of the best seasons ever

As A fan are you excited and what are you expecting from this Season

Black Sheep of English Football

Players make mistakes, they apologize for it. They pay for it and then spend some time rebuilding their reputation and soon afterwards all is forgotten about the bad deeds they have done.

Now it seems that if a player does anything wrong that can damage his career the Barclays Premier league would be the worst place for any player to do so. Football being the biggest sport in the UK, fans are married to their teams till death do them par one would say. Now when a player makes a mistake that would cost his team to lose an important game or makes a remark, fans seem to be very unforgiving.

However these players soon apologizes and recognizes there mistakes and then spend some time rebuilding their careers and some time after all is forgotten. David Beckham was able to do so after his red card in the 1998 FIFA world cup against Argentina. He soon after apologized and then worked to rebuild his career.

However Luis Suarez made racial remarks to Patrice Evra during a Fixture between Man U and Liverpool. This an act that seemed to damage his already brittle reputation. To make things worst is when the two teams met each other later in the season Suarez refused to shake Evra's hand. THis seemed to be the final straw for Suarez as every fan in football history cannot stand the sight of the Liverpool player and that his actions truly has cost his reputation. The thing is he refuses to take responsibility for his actions and he refuses to apologize to Evra.

Suarez who is not really liked by fans for constantly diving and crying wolf never had a real strong reputation to start with. He is an arrogant, cocky player that tends to spend more time on the floor appealing for fouls then he seems to play the game, this is a real shame because the player does have skills and is very talented. But his actions take the light away from that.

Fans and players alike do not seem to have much time for the Player and his actions might have also damaged the Liverpool name. New Reds Boss Brendan Rodgers believes that he can rebuild his reputation just like the former United star did in his career. read more http://Suarez-aimed-racist-abuse

The thing is he is not Beckham and his case is not the same as Beckham's and if he does not change his attitude and admits he was wrong he will never be able to step out of that dark spot and rebuild his name and he will forever be the player that everyone shunts when he touches the ball

As Football fans how do you feel about this

2nd Season Blues

Newly Promoted teams to the top flight that successfully secure a second season but fails to do a 3rd

Teams that get  promoted to the top flights usually faces a hard task of staying up. And when these teams manages to secure a second season, the task ahead seems to be that much bigger and thus teams get branded with the term second season blues.

Now usually newly promoted teams find it hard to adapt to life in the top flights. The game is faster, harder, more physical and at the end of the season you see these new boys usually drop back down to the Champion devision. However this was not the case for Swansea City, Norwich and QPR. These three teams managed to secure a second season in the top flights.

These teams brought something different to the BEAUTIFUL GAME last season and even though QPR just managed to stay up where Swansea and Norwich ended mid table they gave some of the elite teams a scare especially MAN CITY the current champions.

The question is do you think that the three teams are able to secure yet another season or will they suffer the Second Season Blues? Some fans would say that your second season in the top flights is harder than your first. Two teams that definitely  have a mammoth task ahead would be both Swansea and Norwich who lost both their managers to bigger clubs, as these managers played crucial part of ending their teams in mid table.

Another factor is the new teams that will be hungry to prove their status and secure their place among the greats.
  • Reading
  • Southampton
  • West ham united
Will be giving it their all to show the world why they deserve to be the there flights.

What is your verdict? Who do you think will be fighting for their lives and who will be safe at the end of the season. Who is going to struggle. The only thing that Football fans know is that its is going to be a battle of MAMMOTH proportions from the very first whistle
