FOOTBALL DIVE MASTERS

We all would agree that spring board diving in swimming has its perks and we are mainly attracted to it when it's the time of the Olympics. But now it seems that there is a new form of diving looking to become a professional sport

Diving in Football as become a custom to many teams and many players alike. Leading this new trend would be Luis Saurez and Gareth Bale. The past weekend we saw to of the best dive, masters in their trade on top form but the best comes from one you would least expect Gareth Bale. Saurez looks like he has some competition

LETS FLY: Gareth Bale takes a tumble despite no contact from Brad Guzan
Now Bales dive does not come as a surprise, what does come as a surprise is that he beat the master himself at his own game. However these are not the only players as Man United Ashley Young is also a key contender for the Dive Master crown

Now to put all jokes and Mickies aside. Diving in football is a serious issue. We see more and more top players going down in particular fashion, throwing hands and arm in the air trying to get the Refs attention, the show that is put up that these players are injured but once the decision is made they get up as if nothing is wrong.

We all agree that players need to be booked more harshly as this is an issue that needs to be stooped in its roots because the results of this issue is causing bigger issues

We all know that image is important. So what images are diving in the game causing. The result is that youngsters that idolize these players in your top leagues want to be the like these players and they start mimicking these players. Now the issue is that these young players will see the diving as a norm and start doing it at a young age meaning that one day diving will be as part of the game as scoring would be.

This is why the diving needs to stop especially in the BPL. They need to put a stop to this as fans now see diving as a norm and they start to loose interest in the game as players that constantly dive for nothing is taking the enjoyment out of the game. The BPL is a Big name and it thrives to keep that name so a stop to diving is needed to ensure that they keep their standards and class as a top league in the world. Other wise we will look at a drop in class and quality to the name of the BPL

EL LASSER CLASSICO

Lasers have been around for many years and have been used in many ways from eye surgery to em plating brass and metal plates, each laser never less has its purpose. However a different kind of laser made an appearance at the Camp Nou

The EL Classico arguably one of the biggest anticipated games of the football calender, no matter where you are or what team you support, if the EL Classico is on you will know about it. Red and green lasers where seen on the players of Real Madrid.lasers where seen on the players of Real Madrid.

This comes to no surprise as Real were visiting Barcelona at the Camp Nou. Now some would say that these laser affected the game of some of the players of Real Madrid. But Christiano Renaldo did not seem to be affected even though he seemed to have complained here and their but never less he showed why he is one of the best footballers in the world. Other players like Cassilas also seemed to complain about lasers in his face

Cristiano Ronaldo of Real Madrid has a laser pointed in his face during the EL Classico between Barcelona and Real Madrid at Nou Camp
The game certainly entertained as it ended 2 all. The matter however is the issue of the lasers. As a Real Fan or any fan in general how would this make you feel that efforts are being made to hinder you teams performance, yes they are professional players they should not be affected by thing like this but lasers are not part of the game and having said this many fans feel that the lasers is equivalent to have an extra opposition.

Other questions are that do the Barca fans not have any faith in their team that they need to use artificial means of getting their team to win. So many questions that do not have awnsers

Never-less the EL Classico one of the biggest games of the calendar. The publicity the revenue the media attention created is certainly in the top five next to the World Cup and the Champions League Final. So essentially it is a must win. But at what cost. Will acts like these have an effect on any of the PR involved or is the event just so big that it does not seem to be a factor.

One would definitely agree that any acts like these anywhere in the world would distere any top sponsorship but due to the magnitude of the game and the event, sponsors simply would just ignore it as they will get back what ever they invest. This is the real issue as it only matters if you have the power the money and numbers that will allow you to get away with things in this life, the bigger you are the better you are protected

Flying Swans or Falling Swans

What appeared to be a dream start for the Swans now seems to have turned to be a start of a long nightmare

Swansea city face their one of their biggest task ahead trying to stay a second season in the top flights of English soccer. They are the first team from Wales to ever play in the Barclays Premier league and last season they managed to stay in the top flights against all odds and pundits against them, however they managed to stay up due to their FANCY FOOTBALL, PASSING ABILITY, BELIEVES, SPIRIT and most important TEAMWORk

Flying Swans
Swansea started their campaign of to a dream start scoring 8 goals in 2 games and not conceding, and for the first two weeks they were the highest they have ever been in the BPL. with new signings Michu, De Guzman and Florez, the Swans seemed to be in charge and ready to fight

Falling Swans
However this dream start came to an end when they drew 2 all against the mighty Sunderland then losing to Villa the following week that resulted in a stint of three consecutive losses including a shocking home performance against Everton and an away game to Peter Crouch and Stoke.
Bitter taste: Swansea City losing their 3 game in a row Striker Danny Graham  dissapointed

The question can the Swans return to winning ways or was the dream start a fluke, one thing is for certain that the Swans are not gelling like a team and that is one of the KEY ingredients that Martinez, Sousa and Rodgers  managed not to lose

Now from a PR point of view. What are the implications for a team if they do manage to fall out of the Top flights. We have seen many teams fall out and return soon after and others once they have fallin they struggle to get back up and thus taking many years to get back into the BPL or never get there again. The reality is that life not in the BPL you do not have the publicity as you not in the most watched league in the world, you lose fans, lose sponsors and more thus causing a loss in revinue and causing you to lose your key players as you cant afford them.

From a fans point of view what do you think are the implications of life not in the top flights and how many years should it take you to get back
