EL LASSER CLASSICO

Lasers have been around for many years and have been used in many ways from eye surgery to em plating brass and metal plates, each laser never less has its purpose. However a different kind of laser made an appearance at the Camp Nou

The EL Classico arguably one of the biggest anticipated games of the football calender, no matter where you are or what team you support, if the EL Classico is on you will know about it. Red and green lasers where seen on the players of Real Madrid.lasers where seen on the players of Real Madrid.

This comes to no surprise as Real were visiting Barcelona at the Camp Nou. Now some would say that these laser affected the game of some of the players of Real Madrid. But Christiano Renaldo did not seem to be affected even though he seemed to have complained here and their but never less he showed why he is one of the best footballers in the world. Other players like Cassilas also seemed to complain about lasers in his face

Cristiano Ronaldo of Real Madrid has a laser pointed in his face during the EL Classico between Barcelona and Real Madrid at Nou Camp
The game certainly entertained as it ended 2 all. The matter however is the issue of the lasers. As a Real Fan or any fan in general how would this make you feel that efforts are being made to hinder you teams performance, yes they are professional players they should not be affected by thing like this but lasers are not part of the game and having said this many fans feel that the lasers is equivalent to have an extra opposition.

Other questions are that do the Barca fans not have any faith in their team that they need to use artificial means of getting their team to win. So many questions that do not have awnsers

Never-less the EL Classico one of the biggest games of the calendar. The publicity the revenue the media attention created is certainly in the top five next to the World Cup and the Champions League Final. So essentially it is a must win. But at what cost. Will acts like these have an effect on any of the PR involved or is the event just so big that it does not seem to be a factor.

One would definitely agree that any acts like these anywhere in the world would distere any top sponsorship but due to the magnitude of the game and the event, sponsors simply would just ignore it as they will get back what ever they invest. This is the real issue as it only matters if you have the power the money and numbers that will allow you to get away with things in this life, the bigger you are the better you are protected

  1. Okay the use of lasers in La Liga is not something that just happened during this El Classico. I noticed a while back that lasers are used in a large majority of the games and not just by a specific group of fans on a prolific game date, however the amount of laser usage does increase in such games. I've seen the use of lasers so much in La Liga that it's become common place for me. I just think that it's fans being so over zealous that they do not care in which way their team wins as long as it's a win at the end of the day. The use of lasers is unfortunate but the players have learned to deal with them much like the home crowd booing when an opposing player steps up for a free kick or the general "noise pollution" of Vuvuzela's which hinders player communication in the PSL.

  2. The use of lasers are just the same as the fans of Argentina using the massive war drums the SA fans using the Vuvuzela. it's a way to support your team and distract your audience the lasers are just different because they do not emit sounds but in all it is the same thing. If you cannot play with it and want to complain than you shouldn't of became a professional footballer

  3. I honestly think it is shocking. The difference between the Vuvuzelas and Lasers are that the Vuvuzelas are NOISE based, you can learn to shut that out. Lasers are directly on your eyes you cannot learn to shut that out. Its like driving and the sun blinds you there is nothing you can do to it. I think these stadiums must use the cammera technology to spot these fans (so called fans) and stop them in their tracks

  4. I totally agree with the Statement Thomas made. Not that i do not disagree with the other statements. the thing is you can still drive fine with blarring music but once the sun is in your eyes it affects you badly. The camera Tech i think is a good idea but will it ever be incorporated no one will know.
